how come all the women’s shirts are that ugly brown/beige color?
We actually were planning on having white as a t-shirt color for women, but the women of Cheezburger unanimously said that white tshirts were verboten due to “undergarment” issues. In terms of light colors, the sand color is actually very nice. It’s a really light earth tone that was universally praised.
undergarment issues with white t-shirts can be solved by wearing silky beige or “flesh” colored undergarment. white lacy undergarment, however cute on it’s own, will divert attention from teh awesome t-shirt.

This is actually a cute and witty shirt. Most of the other shirts were made of fail.
Would be nice if this shirt was in black or darker colors too. My boyfriend and I don’t like white and light-colored shirts. I wonder if it is possible in the future that they can offer shirts of same design in more than one color so people can have more options to choose from.

A darker color would be better. You still can’t wear a dark bra under that light beige. Frankly, I prefer white to a blah beige color that I’d look absolutely hideous wearing! I guess I’ll have to buy the guy’s shirt.

White isn’t verboten as a t-shirt color- I have many and I wear black bras almost exclusively. I just don’t by crap see-through shirts in white or LIGHT colors like SAND. Thanks for the head’s-up that this would also be a problem for me. ^_^

It’s called a nude colored bra. All ‘undergarment’ problems can be solved with one item: a convertible nude bra.
I think tan is perfect – it matches my Siamese cats. I can’t wear black or dark blue because the hair just gravitates to it, and if somehow I have remained clean, the cats deliver the hair personally.
Ladies should know to wear ivory or beige underwear under white clothing … too bad you didn’t know! The sand color is gross!
The cats look nothing like the presidents they represent, except maybe the Obama cat. The shirt doesn’t even duplicate a cat for Grover Cleveland who was president twice, non-consecutively. I think this shirt’s kind of a rip off. Sorry.

I would rather have a white one too, the tan would not be a good color for me. Also, I have never seen any women’s plus sizes available, which would be useful if people have to order up 2 sizes. Long sleeves for cold weather would also be a good idea.

Great idea, bad execution. The shirt fails for several reasons: ugly color for women, one Prez. Garfield is obviously an impostor, no effort to make cats resemble prezes, no international sales, no powdered wigs for early catsidents… The list could go on. Just looks like 43 beige cats, 1 brown one.

For the sake of halting a ridiculous argument, please cut it out about who the presidential kittehs resemble? The only resemblance to humans cats actually have is the symmetry of the face (two eyes, one mouth and nose, two ears, etc). Everything else (the pointyness of the noses and ears, “happy cat” smilie faces) is pure, unadulterated kitteh and should not be mistaken for looking like any human in particular.
And while I am something of a history nut, and understand some people’s desire to have presidential chronologies correct, the joke needs to be seen as a LIGHThearted jab about how all our head cheeses have been white, and Obama is our first black prez…so like I said, cut it out with the nitpicking of which cat resembles whom, and just enjoy the LOLshirt, for pete’s sake!

I say this in light of the current Hollywood trend among the starlets not to wear a bra under their red-carpet couture. Sorry to sound so old-school, but I find going bra-less a bit gauche (unless you’ve just had a double mastectomy then it’s a moot point).
So excuse me if I do not have much sympathy for the whole “oops I’m wearing the wrong color bra” issue, because like I said: even if you wear the wrong color bra, you’re wearing one at the very least.
While I personally would prefer a white t-shirt, as tan is not my best color, such an earthy brown is common in kitteh-fur markings. So I would gladly wear it in honor of all the kittehs who give joy and laughter to us humans…
